by Lin Stone
Every writer dreams of having a book published, someday. Of all those
who so dream, less than 1% of only those with enough courage to actually try ever reach their
goals.
Now, that is distressing enough, but the news gets worse.
Out of that 1% that are lucky enough to get published (and a lot of it is luck), for every D. Steele making millions, there are thousands of B. Steeles left stifling their sobs in the dust. In other words, If you make more than a thousand dollars out of your book being published in conventional form, you've done very good indeed.
In view of those statistics it is no wonder that when I tell people I am an author they immediately ask what I do for a living.
THE ELECTRONIC REVOLUTION IN PUBLISHING is changing all that. My own writings regularly bring in an easy thousand dollars a month for me. One of my books, published conventionally is now earning ten times as much for me as it was in its original format. In fact, because of the electronic version the original version is still selling.
So, why shouldn't you just publish your
own ebook?
Why bother with a publisher at all?
For the prestige. For the verification.
Because when a PUBLISHER says your writing is good,
the public is willing to believe it,
and so will you.
Note: If the public discovers the publisher is charging you for producing the book, most of that prestige vanishes. They even have a dirty word for that kind of publishing. It is called: VANITY PUBLISHING.
Browzer Books does not charge a cent! At Browzer Books there are:
no reading fees,
no submission fees,
no editing fees,
no fees
-- period.
I don't see how I can be any plainer than saying:
Once your manuscript is approved here, Browzer Books will publish your G-rated ebook for you, free of charge.
All publishing costs are absorbed by Browzer Books.
Will you be getting a cheap book then? Heaven forbid. Take a look at the one Browzer just published for Gary Crow. The cover art is done by me by the way.
| Here are some of the options which can be applied to your published ebook during production at no extra charge. |
| * Built-in search engine inside the books * Extensive User interface customization * Browzer can create Shareware style E-Books (which expire after a set number of days or uses) * Built-in compression of contents of E-Books similar in efficiency to Zip * New documentation * You can have customize colors of system pages * You can design the finished product to run add-in programs when your E-Book starts, exits, or the password entered etc. * Plus, there are Many more functions for manipulating files during production * A fully active Table of Contents or Bookmarks is built-into the books * There is also a Find-in-page function in many E-Books * And perhaps most important of all to many authors, Disable the COPY and Disable the PRINT commands can be set so that buyers can't easily take portions of your work from the pages. |
Can Browzer Books publish PDF. format books too? Yes. PDF format books work best for those authors wanting to put more control into how the reader sees and prints the book. Picture books, children's books, novels, etc. would perhaps benefit from using PDF. Authors using PDF format also have a wider audience because even MAC users can read the book.
* By the way, this same offer goes for REPRINTS too. If your novel is now out of print, this is a great way to get it before the public again, and KEEP ALL THE MONEY.
You are expressly invited to (RIGHT CLICK on this link) make your own bookcover art just like ours, for free. Browzer Books let you make your own cover ONLY if you want to. Maybe you have an artist friend you want to boost, or believe you too have artistic talent? It is your book; your mind's eye should see what kind of cover you want better than anyone else.
Download the free tutorial. You'll be invited to use the actual software for 30 days without charge. The tutorial explains the software so well you'll be ecstatic at how easy it is to use. Who knows, you may start a new business, making ebook covers for other authors. |
Do you want a picture on your cover?
Mark Twain always said that the difference between the right word and one that was almost right was like the difference between lightning and lightning bug. I'm here to tell you that the difference between a good picture and the RIGHT picture is a thousand times greater. Here's the BEST NEWS: You can access up to 1.5 million pieces of art in various forms for just $7.95.
Now, I used to think that $7.95 for only one short week of downloading all the pictures I wanted or thought I wanted was just flat too much to ask. I was looking everywhere for an artist willing to work on a share of my book. Then it finally dawned on me; I was going to give the artist HALF MY PROFITS when I could get hundreds of photos, animations, and clip art for just $7.95 I mean, DUMB! Well actually, more like, STUPID!
All I have to do now is decide what my next book will be, choose the type of art, and download just as many images as I want in the time allowed. Navigation is easy, and the results are nearly always pertinent -- which is worth a fortune to me.
If you are as cheap as I am, line up all the books and projects you have coming up, and maybe a list of the images you'd LIKE to have. Then go in there, and download with a vengeance.
Yeah, I know it is a shame to take advantage of someone else like that, but when the pennies pinch, ask the Lord to make up the difference by delivering more customers to your benefactor, and promise to share your wealth with others -- when you get it.
Publishers like Browzer Books wouldn't kick any D. Steele in the teeth for a million dollars, but B. Steeles are welcome there too -- unpublished, never published. a flop when s/he finally did get published -- that doesn't matter to the staff. The world will always want good, solid, writing to publish.
Most authors want their books to SELL FOR money. I don't blame them. At Browzer Books you can set your own price on your book even though it is the nominal publisher. Somewhere between $1 and $1,000 should work great for you. You keep every cent earned IF you have a place to park the book and a way to sell it. That's right, EVERY CENT is yours.

But, before you
decide to SELL your book,
I want you to read a book written by a friend of mine on the subject of making oodles of money by GIVING YOUR BOOK AWAY. Before opening his book I would not have believed ANYONE could make the REBRANDING subject lively, much less produce a book as fascinating as this one is. I was overwhelmed with the depth and substance. I was awed by the examples set forth. Best of all, I became determined to put every one of his strategies to work for me and invite other authors to do the same. |
"How does Browzer Books get
paid for all the work it is doing?"
Good Question: Every book you advertise or move lists Browzer Books as the publisher and has links back to the publisher's site for at least forty two books the buyers of your books can get absolutely FREE. There is no charge to you for the free bonus given to your readers. Every reader coming to Browzer Books can see a link to YOUR order page too.
Now please remember, the book is published for
free, but you will have to furnish your own sales page and download area; that
way you can never claim Browzer Books is raking part of your money off your sales.
However, if you produce one of those books that offers free reprint rights, Browzer may be your very first purchaser.
Don't you have a merchant account?
There are two cures I recommend for that.
ClickBank and PayPal.
What About Book Rights?
The only rights required by Browzer Books are the electronic html Web Rights. Those rights run for a period of 3 years after which reverting AUTOMATICALLY to the author.
ALL other rights remain with the author. You can keep right on looking for a conventional publisher, and use your ebook sales to prove your book is a moneymaker for them. Just don't be surprised when more money from your ebook goes into your pockets than you get from selling a hard copy.
Note: The author remains legally liable for the contents of the book.
The author is also responsible for securing the copyright and ISBN number for the book IF IT IS DESIRED.
I want to make clear that ISBN numbers have nothing to do with copyright and nothing to do with the Library of Congress. In essence, they are granted by a private concern in New Jersey that came up with a standardization system that helps bookstores order books by a single ten digit code. That's it. But with computer inventory systems built around ISBNs, the number seems more important to authors. It kind of reminds me of the gas station customer asking the owner if his oil had SAE in it. (SAE is the acronym for Standard American Engineering) The owner grabbed a can and showed him the SAE 30 on top. "Yes sir. It's in there. I don't know what SAE is, but it's in there." Note, there is one benefit. If you secure an ISBN number for your ebook it does mean you can offer the ebook through Amazon.com, etc..
Okay, you've had all the facts laid out before you.
The next step is simple.
Just fill out the form on this
next page.
Now, are there OTHER WAYS of making money with your electronic book?
You BET!
#1, you can have a web page telling how to get a portion of your book for free, and which delivers at least part of the first chapter. On this page you can advertise anything you wish. I would suggest you go with Google if you have any doubt in the world of what you should be trying to sell from that page.
